Yvette Chaix has spent the last 20 years designing bold, yet timeless residential and commercial interiors - in a broad range of styles. Spending half of her career in San Francisco and the later on the Central Coast of California, she blends her love of both lifestyles in her designs to create interiors that are specialized to each clients needs. Her passion for design came from a background in art and love of architecture that led her to a career in interior design. Known to be a take charge type of person, she doesn’t wait for things to get done she goes after what needs to be done. Yvette and her team are highly respected in the industry for their knowledge and commitment to detail. She has served on the board as President of the Central Coast Interior Designers and as a member of the the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Yvette is a a certified Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer, proving her skills in design and project management. When she isn’t focussed on her design career, Yvette is obsessing over her two Boston Terriers Matilda and Louie, whom you might see pop up in photos or on job sites.
Cheyanne
Junior Designer, AKBD
Our tech savvy and ever bubbly and positive Cheyanne came to work at YCID with a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Also a native to the Central Coast, Cheyanne lives the quintessential Central Coast lifestyle with her love of the beach, which is where you will find her as often as she can. From her family background in interior design she has a natural talent for understanding plans and through her tech savvy skills she makes sure all our clients orders are fulfilled accurately and timely. Completing her certification course as an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer, Cheyanne is always excited to work on the next design project at YCID.
